We would like to thank and congratulate all of our friends and 34 contestants who had an outstanding 2009 NFR, and the 22 PBR Finalist who have rodeo with us in the past and wish them the best of luck in 2010!

The C-T Rodeo Company was founded in 1970 by Charlie Thompson who was an aspiring young roughstock rider in need of lots of practice. From a humble beginning of four bronc's and four bulls the C-T grew into one of the premier stock contracting and rodeo production companies in the world.

Though the focus has been and will continue to be the training and marketing of bronc's and bulls, the most success and biggest thrills have come from the cowboys and cowgirls. The Lubbock Winter rodeos which started in 1978 and the worlds oldest bullriding "The Midwinter Championship Bullriding" which began in 1974 have been the training grounds and stepping stones for literally hundreds contestants and champions. Many former and current contestants have gone on to professional status, qualifying for the NFR and PBR World Finals where it has not been uncommon for them to take home the gold buckles! When you combine the world class competitors with animals who are well known to qualify for the NFR, PBR Finals, Regional and Circuit Finals in both bronc's and bulls, you exemplify our motto "Train where the Pro's Train!"

Bareback #J58 Thrill Ride out in the 10th round of the 2009 NFR is out of our mare #A88 Thriller. 2009 UPRA Saddle Bronc of the Finals #2381 Riverwind was the 2009 UPRA Saddle Bronc of the Finals and #3221 Wind Song was the 2009 Saddle Bronc of the UPRA year; are out of our breeding program.
